So this post will be short and sweet but I am PUMPED that the new lanes on the Katy Freeway have opened up starting at Gessner now going east bound. This has significantly cut down my travel time to work which is really nice. This morning I set my cruise control on 70 and made it to work in 20 minutes…whoop!
Now, we just need them to get those west bound lanes open and then we’ll really be cooking. I’ll leave it to me hubby to post some link on the scheduled completion date which I’m sure he has (right?) Its going to be pretty sweet…4 or 5 lines each way plus 3 HOV lanes/toll lanes. That part sucks, but I guess if you are really in a hurry than hopping on the toll lanes wouldn’t be so bad…just expensive.

Aug 6, 2008 - 01:08:59Did you know that the cost of those tolls are going to vary depending on the time of day?!?! So during rush hour it will be more expensive than slow times. That is DUMB!
